ability to create our own boards

When you go on to 'the boards' main page, there should be a link somewhere on the page called 'suggest a new board'. When you press enter on this link, you should be presented with a form that lets you send an e-mail to the admins and community leaders suggesting a new board. You should have to fill in 'board title' (the title of the board, the name of the link which takes you to that board), short description (the description which is shown on the list of boards in the boards main category) and 'long description' (the description you read when you click on the link to that board). Then there should be a 'submit board suggestion' button which e-mails the admins and community leaders with your suggestion. The admins and community leaders could then evaluate your suggestion to see if that board should be created or not. They could also correct any spelling errors if they think your board suggestion is good. The person who suggested the board should be notified via e-mail once a decision has been made, to say whether the board they suggested has been created or not.

Um, no offense, but that's kinda why we have this suggestions board. Plus, with the suggestions board, other users as well as staff can comment on the idea and give their opinion as to whether they think it's a good idea or not.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but that's just my opinion,

yeah i agree with robbie on this.

plus, people might start suggesting boards that all ready exist, just so that they could have a board of there own

Actually, I don't think it's a bad idea, but imagine all the suggestion Emails that would be sent in a day...Lol. I like the thought, though.

plus, who says how much use they're going to get, we've already got pleanty in my oppinion. this would remind me of the zone bbs in person which from what i remember barely ever got used...

I agree with Rob and Daniel on this one. The suggestions boards is fair enough. And if anyone wants to suggest a board, they can just create a thread here and read the Cl's responses.

I agree it is an interesting idea but too spamy for the admins, so use this board. :)
